It's nice to be able to mix and match amps and pedals, and this really opens up the choice of overdriven sounds; although the Marshall and Boogie amp models are particularly suited to this sort of thing, we found some great tones by adding distortion to the clean amp model. At Kenny's Music we take the privacy and security of your payment and personal details very seriously. In manual mode these foot switches turn individual effects on and off, like four separate stomp boxes, one each for Compression/FX, Overdrive/ Distortion, Modulation, and Delay. I never realised there was such a big difference between a guitar amp and a PA, other than the usual overdrive preamp controls.

It turns out that inserting a plug into the ME-70 rec/phones socket enables miked speaker simulation, on all outputs. I feel like theres a ton of features in it and I'm still struggling to switch from clean to crunch and also finding it tough to find the tones I'm looking for. So I go back to bass and get the ME50 for that band then start playing lead with yet another band and then I put my foot down. i can say that when it comes to the BOSS Me-70, be it the distortions or flangers, or the 'cosm' classic amp emulation. It's not meant for recording, but if you need a quick overdrive, compressor/boost, modulation, delay, reverb, and wah without busting your ass in expenses, then you need this.I found that setting the overdrive section to Natural with the Drive around noon was like adding a second channel to the single channel Reverend and Orange amps. being a guitar teacher who has experimented with different effects and played in bands for almost 20 years now. I always wanted to upgrade to the Boss BE5M because it was the same as the BE5 but you could programme up to 8 pre-set patches with it and it had an external FX loop.
