About this deal

This set is based on an Egyptian oasis with 2 ancient Egypt houses, in ancient Egypt moet of the houses looked like this, which allt of people didnt know, because not everyone lived in a big temple, most people lived in poverty. The board game pieces came in the following sets: 7418 Scorpion Palace contained 7, 7419 Dragon Fortress contained 11, being the biggest, and 7417 Temple of Mount Everest had 5. On the left it leads into a room where the priest prepares deceased Egyptians for their journey to the afterlife. But my favorite part has to be the inclusion of an actual oasis in the background, trimmed with some beautiful dark green tile and two modern-style palm trees. This collection includes a Galaxy Trooper, Alien Trooper, Evil Wizard, Classic King, Goblin, Snake Charmer, Samurai, Disco Diva, Fencer, Unicorn Girl, Lady Cyclops, Paleontologist, Carpenter, Hot Dog Man, Sheriff and an Egyptian Warrior.

On the front you may recognize some of Egypt's mythical gods and heroes like Thoth, Osiris, and Anubis. Though a smaller set than the pyramid, it still had a few tricks up its sleeve, and was a great set in its own right. I'm so glad we didn't get this for Christmas as it needs much patience and a whole day devoting to helping a younger child complete. The iconic shape of the two slightly inclining rectangular towers with the smaller gate in the middle was a representation of two hills between which the sun rises. Whether this was intentional or not, it seemed LEGO hadn’t completely given up on the original idea. We’ve supported 100’s of businesses with a variety of bespoke LEGO B2B services providing each client with a dedicated single point of contact throughout the process. Norlego takes us on an LEGO Adventure with everyone’s favorite non-licensed LEGO adventurer Johnny Thunder! Employing forced perspective, a micro version of the ancient city’s walls can be seen on the other side of Lake Mareotis (modern-day Lake Mariout in Egypt). Main pyrmaid base is one part but dont let that put you off, still lots to build, including a big scorpion and a wee jeep. And so, in no time whatsoever, the pyramid was built, the scorpion was suitably menacing, the traps were set, the treasures hidden, the bad guys waiting with the kind of patience one expects of the plastic undead, and the heroes were ready to storm the pyramid, ably assisted by a Lego Han Solo because hey, when you're facing a Giant Scorpion, you need all the firepower you can get.

Not because it wasn’t a good idea, on the contrary it was an excellent way of selling sets and it made collecting them more interesting. Man, all this nostalgia makes me want to build my own revamped LEGO set for the upcoming MOCing Memories BrickCon collab sponsored by The Brothers Brick. Either way, Batman™ is ready for prehistoric action thanks to his totally old-school caveman costume!

While not as elaborate as the previous sets, they are more fondly remembered for the pre-moulded dinosaurs. Robert has repurposed modern weapons to serve as the biplane’s machine guns, which work incredibly well, as does the textured desert landscape the Barron sails across! I rather like playing with your Legos rather than displaying it but this would suit the player AND displayer. I'd rather be doing this than staring at the TV though)THE DETAIL:The main focus of this set is the pyramid.

They say that even the darkest heart has a spot of good hidden deep inside, and the fact is that the Rogue has been known to lend his skill with a bow and arrow to a worthy cause once or twice (even if he’d never be willing to admit it). Can the heroes navigate the treacherous maze of booby-trapped stairs and the Pharaoh’s tomb to escape the clutches of the mummies? There are many parts which need to be made many times the same way ,so this was good for him to follow and replicate. With these sets, came better, more detailed figures, also the sets had more to do with the films, which was understandable but you could still see the old adventure sets in these. The Adventurers theme is based on an early 20th century exploration where the characters explore new areas, and go on adventures.

Can the heroes navigate the maze of sliding doors, booby-trapped stairs and the Pharaoh’s tomb to escape the clutches of the mummies? The sets were unique in that three of the larger sets came with game cards and pieces of the board game. For example, set 5988, the Temple of Anubis (or Pharaoh’s Forbidden Ruins) at 710 pieces and 10 minifigures, was quite a large set at the time to get. The use of the prickly bush for the dead leaves at the base of the palm tree is a really nice touch.

On the top of the building is the pharaoh statue watching from above for someone to try to steal all the treasures. Occasionally, Apu likes to sneak up to his secret Kwik-E-Mart roof garden for spiritual replenishment – and to spy on his competitors at the nearby Gulp ‘N’ Blow. My only regret with these sets is that they didn’t make the Lost Tomb bigger, add more snakes and figures. King Tut™ was a simple Egyptologist until an accident left him convinced that he was the genuine ruler of ancient Egypt.
