Celestron 21044 76 mm PowerSeeker Reflector Telescope
About this deal
The Barlow lens can be attached between the focuser and the eyepiece and triples the magnification of the eyepiece. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The Celestron Powerseeker range includes the two major telescope mount types: Equatorial mount and Altazimuth Mount.
U nleash the full pointing accuracy of your Celestron computerized telescope with a specialized telescope control software suite. I've looked up some reviews and YouTube videos but unfortunately there's not a lot that explains what I could hope to achieve with this telescope. A note regarding magnification: Similar telescopes are advertised in many places with magnifications of over 300X or even 600X. With an aperture of 76mm, fully coated lens and ability to gather 118 times the light of the human eye you get a clear, bright image. Altazimuth mounts allow the telescope to move up down and side to side and are great for terrestrial use allowing you to adjust the position and follow moving objects easily.
An inspirational gift for any student who is has always been interested in the wonders of the night sky.
In the 1960s, Celestron’s founder, Tom Johnson, created groundbreaking new telescopes never before seen on the consumer market. There is also a three times Barlow lens which can be used with any of the eyepieces to increase their magnification. Powerseeker Telescopes are easy to assemble, no tool set up required, most can be set up and ready to use in around 15 minutes.I have more than 10 years with my PowerSeeker 76 AZ, I've never collimated it, but even with that I can see Saturn and Jupiter as a small point. The dovetail is too short to allow you to slide the scope to adjust balance, and the lack of any rings means the angle of the focuser is fixed.
The included 4mm eyepiece provides the normal image of the telescope (inverted as it is natural in an astrological-astron monitoring). although at day time, you can see through it, although the eye piece is really small so it makes for uncomfortable viewing. This intelligent, all-in-one observatory and astroimaging system emerges as a catalyst, eliminating the complexities traditionally associated with telescopes and, in turn, metamorphosing your backyard into an inviting gateway to the Universe.Celestron has created a new range of beginners telescopes with this series, which are extremely good value for money. The Celestron AstroMaster LT 76AZ reflector telescope includes a pair of three-element eyepieces offering a 50-degree apparent field of view—a 20mm for 45x and a 10mm for 90x.
A larger, faster telescope that uses a spherical primary mirror, such as the 130mm f/5 Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ or a typical 76mm f/4 tabletop reflector, would suffer from a lack of sharpness and definition; however, in the case of the 76mm f/9 sphere that comes with the AstroMaster LT 76AZ, any deviation from a parabola is insignificant, and thus it offers great performance for astronomical purposes. The Zhumell Z100/ Orion SkyScanner 100 vastly outperforms the AstroMaster LT 76AZ with its larger aperture and wider field of view, along with similar provided accessories and a sturdy, easy-to-aim tabletop Dobsonian mount. These eco-friendly telescopes are characterized by a wide range of optical features and a compact and/or compact disc suitable for transporting them on any trip.Make the most of your stargazing using the Starry Night software included with all Celestron Powerseeker Telescopes - Celestron Starry Night Software is the premier astronomy software package on the market.
