I would like to just cut down to weekend drinking but if I stopped wanting to drink altogether that would be good I'd save a fortune. Jason Vale is the UK's leading authority on health, addiction, and most importantly juicing and using the power of freshly extracted raw juice from fruit and vegetables to help you live a fitter, vibrant and juicier life! It's not really an "advantage" per se because it's actually your body responding to mild poisoning, but it feels like one and is very alluring.

I know all too well that one change can lead to other, often unintended, ones and I was scared of what might be next. I'm also going to do some work on some things causing the odd craving which aren't directly dealt with in the book. Whether or not you agree with this statement, one thing is for certain, you will never see alcoholism in the same light ever again after reading this book. What re-reading the books (list below) helped me to do was to recognise the cycle of waking and feeling low and believing that a drink will help and then one becoming three or four and waking the next day feeling low again and on and on… I see that I can handle the bad days without it. I didn't follow the instructions exactly because it advises you to keep drinking to the end of the book and I just stopped.Jason Vale takes an honest and hard hitting look at people’s conceptions of our most widely consumed drug.

Jason Vale, aka the ‘Juice Master’, is the best-selling author of sixteen books on healthy eating, addiction, juicing and blending. His major argument is there is no such thing as an alcoholic and that we have been conditioned to accept alcohol as a 'normal substance in today's Society despite the fact that it is the major cause of many of today s social problems and a wide range of health issues. I read this book only to give the right support to somebody close to me who used this book to help to himself. The only issues are what to drink when out (a lot of soft drinks are sickly) and that I find formal dinners where previously I would have drunk alcohol are very boring.

Whether you agree with this statement or not, one thing is for sure, you will never see alcohol in the same light ever again after reading this book. Jason Vale is a well-known health and addiction author who has sold over 5 million books, over 1 million apps and is the man behind the ground-breaking health documentary Super Juice Me! If you've gotten to that chapter in the book and consider yourself free, you don't need that one drink to celebrate anything. I picked this book alongside Annie Grace's 'The Naked Mind' and I'd totally recommend it for anyone who wants a simple, yet revolutionary thinking about Alcohol and living an alcohol-free life without the painful reminder that you quit and everyone else is having the time of their life. The only part I disagree with is where he continually says that alcohol has no advantages whatsoever. The scary statistics and science always get me, but I just couldn’t get on board with the way he tries to reframe addiction. Again, using his own analogy, it's like asking a heroin addict to inject themselves one last time 'to celebrate the onset of freedom from heroin. I do occasionally have a slight sense of loss when I pass the alcohol aisle in the supermarket or when I see friends drinking.
