People have been harnessing the wind’s energy for a long, long time. Five-thousand years ago, ancient Egyptians made boats powered by the wind. In 200 B.C.E., people used windmills to grind grain in the Middle East and pump water in China. In the Stone Age standing stones were set up on grid line crossings; the Chinese, Indian, Greek, Roman and European Medieval civilizations knew of them, as the location of temples, monuments and cathedrals bears witness. Each of us aligns specifically with one or two of the earth energies at birth. Hence it is an individual mission to explore and discover how to use those energies for personal and planetary evolution. There are twenty of these energies and they will be defined and explained in detail in chapters 7 through 9. Who we are and how we interact – with each other and with our environment – and how they colour and flavour our lives. This is what determines the course of our evolution. The first place the lines cross is in the Glastonbury Abbey, between the High Altar and King Arthur's and Guinevere's tomb.

Most electricity generated from biomass is produced by directly burning it. The biomass fuel is burned in a boiler to produce high-pressure steam. This steam flows over a series of turbine blades, causing them to rotate. The rotation of the turbine drives a generator, producing electricity. Wind, sunlight, and the planet have energy that transforms in ways we can see and feel. We can see and feel evidence of the transfer of energy from the sun to Earth in the sunlight shining on the ground and the warmth we feel when sunlight shines on our skin. We can see and feel evidence of the transfer of energy in wind’s ability to pull kites higher into the sky and shake the leaves on trees. We can see and feel evidence of the transfer of energy in the geothermal energy of steam vents and geysers. Today his work on this idea is simply interpreted to mean that every thought we think affects every aspect of our reality. The personalities and opinions of the people we encounter, the daily stress of schedules, work, family, and even the news, are just a handful of things that can be emotionally or mentally triggering. We exist in an energetic melting pot simply as a member of society. However on our way there, we detoured to the Abbey Retreat House on Lambrook Street, which would have been the Eastern entrance to the Abbey.

Perhaps the most famous Ley line in Britain is the ‘Michael and Mary’ line, which runs across England from St. Michael’s Mount in Cornwall to Hopton in Norfolk. Twin underground water currents, known as the Michael and Mary lines after the number of churches dedicated to either Mary or St. Michael found upon them, run with a central overground Ley across England, oriented to Mayday sunrise.

The next point where the Michael and Mary energy lines merge in Glastonbury is the Chalice Well gardens. Mano explained that this would have been a Victorian reservoir, and that the White Spring used to be a water source for the town of Glastonbury. One such instrument is the Telescope Array observatory in Utah, US, which found the Amaterasu particle. Mano showed me some old carvings on the gateway, one of which is a cross, with two cruets, which could have been a coat of arms for Joseph of Arimathea.

But in the case of the Oh-My-God particle and this new particle, you trace its trajectory to its source and there’s nothing high energy enough to have produced it. Mano further explained: "What's interesting about Glastonbury, and what I feel makes it so powerful, is that this double line crosses itself in three places in the town, creating an area of ground of the full polarity of energy. The course is structured so that one day of every weekend will be held inside and the other day outside in the field, working in a practical way. Every thought that we have, everything we say and every action that we make creates energy. Even the natural function of our body creates energy, the glowing aura that surrounds us. Hydroelectric energy is made by flowing water. Most hydroelectric power plants are located on large dams, which control the flow of a river.

Straight lines in the landscape can be divided into three types: the first are represented by lines of one or other of the global geomagnetic grids, and the ‘Second Schneider Grid’ is especially related to the paths of Roman roads in Europe.Growing crops for biofuels, however, requires large amounts of land and pesticides. Land could be used for food instead of biofuels. Some pesticides could pollute the air and water. An artificial distinction between Feng Shui and Geomancy has arisen in some parts of the world. “Geomancy” means “divining the earth” As a scientist who has spent many years researching Glastonbury and ley lines throughout Somerset and Wiltshire in particular, I am convinced of the existence of these energy lines. We may still have no certain explanation of the phenomena, but it is very far from being confined to England and is recognised in many parts of the world under various names. And Glastonbury, on many levels, remains indeed one of the most amazing places on the planet.
